How to select and group shapes like circles and lines?

 
Tap the Scissors button then select the square (see attached screenshot 1). Select the shapes on your note by drawing a square with your finger or Pencil.

Once selected, you have the "Group" option to convert those shapes into one shape. (See attached screenshot 2)
