Writing or strokes disappearing while using the ink tools?

It could be that you are using an ink with white background color that overlaps the previous strokes. Double tap the pencil (or ball-pen) button (see attached screenshot) then select a color with a transparent background color (there is red line to indicate transparency). You can also make sure that the “Background Colour” option is transparent.
